Lydia Heyman took her first steps into the world of child development on the mats of AAU Youth Karate, where her passion for shaping young minds ignited. With a treasure of gold medals from her time as a USA Junior Olympic Karate Team member, she found her true fulfillment not in personal victories, but in guiding youngsters toward becoming disciplined, compassionate, and self-aware individuals.
In 2017, Lydia was a full-time nanny while finishing her business administration degree at the University of Florida. Amid textbooks and diaper bags, she discovered an entirely new passion – a deep connection with infants that would forever shape her journey.
Wrapped up in the world of little ones, she encountered a shared challenge in each household– the mysteriously vanishing bottle caps. This seemingly small inconvenience started her on a multi-year journey of discovery, innovation, and creation.
Before the birth of Boom Boom Baby and the revolutionary Cubby Bottle, Lydia’s story wove through diverse chapters. Along her professional journey, Lydia developed deep experience in helping fellow entrepreneurs launch their products and brands through major retailers like Amazon.com.
Lydia has a genuine passion for fusing her technical skills and experience with a genuine empathy for parents. This passion has fueled her first steps in entrepreneurship by bringing thoughtful, one-of-a-kind baby products to the market.
